Andrew is an experienced contract / project manager with 14 years’ experience working on Local & Regional Council's, NZ Transport Agency, Government Departments and Private Developers construction projects.
Andrew has project managed various projects and maintenance activities including road realignments, rehabilitations and highway upgrade projects. Other specialised projects which Andrew has been involved in are bank stabilisation's, bridge repairs, new bridge constructions, retaining structures and major drainage works to name a few.
Andrew gained further experience with a period in Western Australia working in the Pilbara Region. Working in the harsh and remote areas added complicated situations which Andrew managed by ensuring a robust plan had been constructed along with secondary plans to ensure all possibilities were covered.
Andrew believes the key to achieving high performance is through engaging his staff so they develop a sense of ownership of project works. He achieves this through a strong focus on communication and interaction with his teams. This combined focus sees his teams willing to work together to deliver great results.
Operations & Site Supervisor
John has 14 years’ experience in the civil industry all based from the Waikato & Central North regions. He is a skilled operator, foreman, supervisor and now Operations Manager.
John has supervised various projects and maintenance activities including road realignments, highway rehabilitation's and bulk earthworks projects. Other projects include timber & steel retaining structures, major drainage, remote track construction and residential subdivisions.
John has undertaken the supervisory role on many NZTA and local government projects including NZTA SH37 Safety Improvements, TCDC pavement rehabilitation package in 15/16 and more recent the NZTA East Waikato NOC Pavement construction and slip repairs.
John believes the key to achieving high performance is forward planning, open communication lines and good attitude. He ensures his core values and follow by the project team.
Operations & Project Manager
Jason is an experienced Project Manager and Site Supervisor with 14 years’ experience working on Local & Regional Authorities, NZ Transport Agency projects, Government Departments and Private Developers.
Jason as worked for both local governments and private contractors. This experience gives him the ability to look at your project from both sides of the fence. This ensures your projects are competed in the most cost & time efficient manner.
Jason has been involved in a large array of projects across the Waikato and bay of plenty region in the past 14 years.
A highlight in recent years is the civil construction component of the Bayfair Westfield expansion in Tauranga. Jason was the Contract Manager for this project and managing the works to suit in with Structural building contractor, the client and the general users of the shopping Centre was no easy task. Jason managed this without a glitch, positive and open communication lines, forward planning and some initiative work methodology ensured this project was completed successfully
Jason believes in a hands-on approach to all his projects and being onsite and interacting with staff and clients to key to the success. Jason loves to get the client and clients representative on site to discuss programmes and methodologies to ensure everyone is on the same page. This builds trust between all parties and always ends in success.
Business Development & Project Manager
David has 13 years’ experience working on Local & Regional Authorities, NZ Transport Agency projects, Government Departments and Private Developers projects.
David has always looked to successfully completed projects that stand above the rest. His time and focus has been placed on the small details to ensure that this does not “trip” up your project in the final leg.
A highlight for David recently is the successfully delivery of the Rototuna edge residential subdivision. David was engaged to manage both the civil and structure construction of this 21 lot subdivision. The project is located in the heart of the busy Rototuna suburb of hamilton and the design works required many different industries working together and around each other. David managed to seeming less transition the civil construction into the building phase and provide a quality project that the client was proud to sell on.
David believes in positive communication and timely quality assurance to the successfulness of all projects. Ensuring this is all on hand for the client and there representatives means that it’s a no surprise approach and all parties always walk away happy.
David also really enjoys the opportunities to improve both SW Civil business and our clients projects. He looks for possiblities for both parties to innovate, save costs or look to have minimal impact on the environment.
